Most teams, departments, and organizations need to ‘get away’ to an offsite at least one day during the year.  Rather than have the team leader facilitate the meeting, there is enormous value in the leader acting as participant and letting a third party professional facilitate the meeting.  Milestones brings significant experience in this area, one often underrated in its importance but requiring great skill to not just stay on the agenda but listen to each participant’s needs and weave them adroitly into a day that gets the teams to their deliverable goals and action plans for the coming year.  Some teams go to offsites two to three times a year for re-tuning as well, and find every minute spent in these offsites translates into increased efficiency and an enhanced working environment.
