Kay’s Interiors follows a four-step, professional approach to working with clients.

In the first step we get to know you and your home. This service helps us know how we can help you. Often clients hire us to just provide an assessment of possibilities for their home. For a small, reasonable fee, we are happy to work with clients who are just curious about how they might fine-tune, upgrade, or possibly remake their home’s look and feel.

In the second step we prepare recommendations for what you can do to achieve your desires and goals, within your budget and time objectives. In this step, we analyze the design, colors, materials to be used, accessories to be saved, accessories to be potentially bought, buying trip coordination, and need for rearranging of furniture and heavy items. We come back to your home with specific, practical ideas and suggestions you can implement yourself and optional ideas that may necessitate our help, depending on the extent of your goals.

The third step in our approach to giving you a “new” home, is to work with you to select just the right design for you and to implement your choice. If the solution you are looking for can be implemented by you, then we encourage that. Otherwise, we will begin to prepare a plan of action to buy the items you may need, schedule the work to rearrange your furnishings and accessories, the hanging of pictures and prints, and the general overall effect of all accoutrements and any other modifications.

The final and fourth step is to “present” your newly designed result to you. After completing the final arrangements, you will be asked to experience the new look and feel of the spaces we have worked with you to transform. Of course, if there is anything you decide to tweak or change, we will help you do that too. This is a time for you to say, “I just love it Kay!” That is our goal for you.

First, Kay will interview you and learn about your home style, taste, likes/dislikes, colors, and personal nuances that are key to beautiful design.

Second, after you select a room to be redesigned, Kay will view your home and assess the existing furniture and accessories that are adaptable for use in the room you’ve chosen.

Third, Kay and her team will design, rearrange and decorate the room while you are away. Then we will ask that you return to experience your new and exciting room.

Fourth, as an added-value feature of this one-time offer, Kay will suggest ideas for using any of your home’s furniture and accessories that will further unlock the beauty of your home.
