Aura Marttinen

Aura Marttinen, Consultant at Milestones, Inc., is an experienced facilitator in an international setting.  She is a speaker who brings energy and passion into all her assignments.  Throughout her career, Aura has handled the full range of activities in the field of communication.

During her 4-year tenure with Funlanguages Oy, the largest language school in Finland, Aura was key in developing the organization’s first structured teacher trainer process, then rolling it out to over 100 language instructors in its year of inception.  Her most recent position at Funlanguages Oy was as Assistant Regional Manager for Kids Club Espoo, a division of the company.  At Kids Club Espoo Aura was responsible for such duties as all corporate communication, handling employee relations issues, and overseeing the interviewing and selection process for language instructor positions, as well as the training and re-training of the instructors.  Aura used her international experience and gave well-received seminars in five languages; Finnish, Swedish, English, Spanish, and French.

Aura graduated from the Helsinki School of Economics. Simultaneously she worked in various positions at Synocus, a leading Finnish management consulting firm.  This background has provided Aura with a very strong foundation in communication, interpersonal dynamics and creative problem solving. 

Aura currently holds certification in the Target Training International® TriMetrix program, the Assess 360 multi-rater assessment and is a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst (CPBA) and a Certified Professional Values Analyst (CPVA).  Aura is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Los Angeles chapter of the American Society of Training and Development.
